Just to get back to the original post, i was just wondering if anything can be done in the future with the fact that the day of the injury, the injury is diagnosed, turns into a career ending injury and the player is released all in the same day which is totally unrealistic. Id much rather see the player go on the dl, finish the season and retire then or even hang around on the dl longer and eventually retire. Not all in the same day.
