“Morning folks, it should be a brief meeting this morning as I know we are eager to catch the plane to Kansas City, but Mr. Stuart wanted to stop by the meeting this morning. Mr. Stuart.”
“Thanks Kage, I just wanted to opportunity to thank you for all the hard work you have been doing and congratulate you on getting the Mallards to First place in the division, for the first time since the plane crash that took my father and his staff. I know it hasn’t been easy, but you have done a great job. Thanks for letting me stop in and I will let you get back to work”.
“Thanks Mr. Stuart, we appreciate that and I just want echo what Mr. Stuart said. We still have a long road ahead, but it feels like we are heading in the right direction. Tina, can you tell was what we have coming up.”
“This week we have 3 games @ Kansas City (19-17) followed by 3 games at home vs. Jacksonville (16-20). As you all know we have tomorrow off. Kage also asked me to put together a list of how previous Mallards are faring this year, you will find that it in you email.”

“That’s all that I have today.” Tina finished. “Do you have anything for us Dwight?”
“We have some shuffling that could be done in the minors, mostly players that could be demoted, but not many are ready to move up. After their hot start AAA Louisville has dropped to 11-11, the pitching there is really struggling, I don’t believe that it is due to the coaching; the players just aren’t performing. I will certainly be keeping an eye on it.”
“Lastly the 2011 draft class will be announced later this week, as you know we have the 16th selection in the draft. I will come next week with a list of the top players in the draft as well as the how the past top draft choices are performing.”
“We did have another player of the week in the minor leagues, 24 year old Maurilio Fiadeiro, first basement from AA North Berwick was named the AA top performer by going 12-27, 3 HR, 7 RBI and 6 runs for the week.”
“That’s all I have for today.” Said Dwight.
“Alright, we have not injuries, knock on wood, so we don’t need to hear from Fernando, let’s keep it up and see where we can take this.”
