Tuckanarra terror Lorne Evans, a five-time Golden Bat winner, fell a little short this season and wound up in the runner-up spot... at 32, Evans prospered with a .307 BA in 148 games, hit 40 roundtrippers, batted in 99 runs and scored 112 times... he also walked 119 times and was an important part in the Blue Jays winning the Tycobbian East Division for the fourth successive season... Evans also went over the 500-mark in homers this year, winding up with 522.

Ginza's rising star Sogo Takagi was third in the voting with a .321 BA, 35 homers, 117 RBIs and 113 runs... the talented center fielder helped the Ninjas to a fourth-place finish in the tough TU South this season... Takagi is 24 and participated in 142 games.
