Sorry for how dumb this question probably is, but, here goes:

If I save (or earn) my owners some money by trading off dead weight midseason, or winning a few extra games, will I be able to use that money in the next season(s)?

Like, for instance, if I trade a $4M 2013 guy for a $2M 2013 guy, will I get to use that money somewhere? Or did I, ostensibly, just make the owners happy?
