2038 RUTHLANDIAN MIDSEASON STANDINGS AND TEAM STATISTICS

In the Ruthlandian East race powerful Sugar Valley has built up a solid 5-game lead over the Beechwood Bobcats at midseason... preseason favorite Cold Creek has played well, but so far it hasn't come close to matching the Rattlers' blistering pace... the Catamounts have fallen behind by 9 games, which may be too much to make up... highly-thought of Wynnamac is languishing in seventh place, 16 games off the pace... it looks like a two-team contest between Sugar Valley and Beechwood, two offensive juggernauts.

Out in the RU West Divsion the number-one pick Fort Benton has its hands full with the Sligo Rovers... the Defenders are tied with them at the All-Star break... Volusia and Middlefield are within reach, but not likely to challenge this year... the outlook is a close finish between two very evenly-matched teams... it might be too close to call... the Rovers' home-run power could be the difference maker.
