2038 Ruthlandian Union Final Individual Batting and Pitching Leaders

RU STATS LEADERS ANNOUNCED
The Ruthlandian Union recognized the statistical leaders for the 2038 season today... heading up the list were batting champion Marco Ameche of the Marston Nine (.348 BA), home-run leader Boo Boudreaux of Belle Plaine (49 HRs), Bobby Gamble of Sugar Valley (136 RBIs) and Richie Strickland of Sugar Valley (142 runs)... mound leaders were Maury Patterson of Beechwood with the most wins (26), J. J. Gillespie of Cold Creek with the best ERA (2.32 ERA) and strikeout king Ken Morrow of Grand City with 256 Ks.

It's the third time in his illustrious career Patterson has posted 26 victories... first batting title for Ameche... first time for Gamble to lead in RBIs... after finishing second in runs for the three years, Strickland finally led this season... Boudreaux took the HR crown for the second year in a row... Patterson tied Clyde Engstrom of Turon for the IPA lead in wins... Gamble and Strickland top the IPA in RBIs and runs.
