I just looked and we're going to have to make some decisions on quite a few free agents by the end of this season.

I'm probably going to make offers to 2 or 3 of the SP's. I just have to figure out which ones. I think I have enough relievers to let Gossage go. On the offensive side, I will be definitely working hard to re-sign Molitor. After that, I'll work to sign Buckner (my favorite Cub as a kid) and likely make offers to Stearns and Bonnell (my super-sub) as they'll come cheap. I think I'm going to let Thornton go via either trade or free agency hoping to get a supplemental draft pick.
