You mean Elmer Valo was with Washington too? (See photo on this page above in section 18490.) I had totally forgotten that.
Valo, born in Czechoslovakia in 1921 took to the American game of baseball so well that he was a major league outfielder by age 19 in 1940. His odyssey around the major leagues between 1940 and 1961 was a near-record for number of teams played for at that time, especially for a non-pitcher. He also had a penchant for playing with teams who were about to move and played with 3 teams in the last year in their old city and the first year in their new location.
His career travels include: Philadelphia Athletics 1940-1954 with the exception of Military Service in 1944-1945; 1955-56 Kansas City Athletics; 1956 Philadelphia Phillies; 1957 Brooklyn Dodgers; 1958 Los Angeles Dodgers; 1959 Cleveland Indians; 1960 New York Yankees; 1960 Washington Senators; 1961 Minnesota Twins; 1961 Philadelphia Phillies (again - his final career stop).
