The Rockies continued to under perform throughout May although they started the month strong going 8-2 in their first 10 games but had 2 four game losing streaks during the month to bring them back to a final month record of 14-15. There was not a lot of news for the team outside of RP Brandon League going on the 60 day Disable List with shoulder inflammation and is expected to be out for 3 more months. He was obviously effected by the injury as he went from his 2.88 ERA last season to 9.53 this season. To take his spot in the pen the Rockies promoted Chris Withrow who has pitched 16 innings with a 6.75 ERA.
