The Memphis Gamblers Miguel Rodriguez was carrying a hot bat against the New Orleans Voodoo tonight. Rodriguez went 5 for 6 in the Gamblers 13-3 victory over the Voodoo. Rodriguez had 5 singles in the game, along with 3 RBIs. On the season Rodriguez is hitting .250 with 7 RBIS.

Bad news for the Reno Robbers and releiver Mike Holman. Holman is not responding well to the treatment of his elbow soreness, and now team doctors are saying its going to be another week before he is game ready.

Starting Pitcher Dan Gaines of the Memphis Gamblers will miss the next two months as the result of suffering from elbow tendinitis in his
throwing arm. So far on the young season Gaines is 1-2 with a 1.17 ERA for Memphis.

The Sioux Fall Cowboys Pedro Garcia will be out for the next 4 weeks due to a sprained ankle. Garcia was hitting .176 with 5 RBIs at the time of his injury.
