The Rockies shocked the big leagues by signing CF Mike Trout in the offseason and we are seeing why they did as they 28 year old won the NL batter of the month award as he hit .383/.472/.800 7 HR 16 RBI. The Rockies pitchers are also doing well, rookie SP Bill "Big Red" Scott is getting roughed a bit but that would be expected and even with that the Rockies pitchers have the 2nd best overall ERA in the NL with a 3.13 ERA.
