Roberto Munoz, of the Portland Sounds, had a great day at the plate in the Sounds recent 7-5 victory over the Columbus Knights. Munoz was 5 for 5, with 5 singles and 2 RBIs in the game. For the season Munoz is hitting .357 with 12 RBIs for Portland.

Kentucky Long Rifles first baseman Duncan Smart had a big smile and a big day at the plate today. Smart went 5 for 7, with 4 singles and a triple, along with a walk in the Long Rifes 9-8 15 inning lose to the Salt Lake City Miners. For the season, Smart is hitting .310 with 13 RBIs.
