The month of April was good to the Rockies as they compiled a 20-5 record with as always excellent hitting and some decent pitching from their starters and incredible pitching from their bullpen who have a 1.69 ERA. Also of note Rockies CF Mike Trout at the age of 29 reached a milestone this month as he hit 300th home run of his career and has 7 on the season so far. The Rockie also put SS Steve Wallace on the 15 day dl with a strained hamstring and he is expected to miss 2-3 more weeks. Meanwhile Gordon Connelly will start in his place.
