MLB Awards and Offseason Preview

First up? MLB regular season awards with multiple Rockies taking home honors and in some ways a big surprise as CF Mike Trout took home his 4th MVP Award and his second in a row. This initially comes as a surprise because teammate LF Yasukazu Tsuchiya hit 62 Home Runs this season but it was Trout's all around game that won him the award as he hit .324/.403/.615 with 50 HR and 131 RBI along with 137 runs scored and 24 Stolen Bases. He also was near the top of the league in zone rating with his tremendous range out there in center field which netted him a gold glove award again this year.
Also before the season the Rockies opted to not resign RF Glenn Mackie which was a surprise but they knew what they had waiting in the wings and that was RF Rick Clark who was selected as the NL Rookie of the Year. Clark hit .251/.353/.567 with 44 HR and 108 RBI.
