It was a fantastic start to the season for the Rockies as they came out and won their first 13 game before losing their first game of the year. RP Rex Brothers did go out for 2 weeks during the first game of the year but recently made his return. Also of note at the beginning of the year the Rockies claimed RP Pedro Garcia off of waivers from the Minnesota Twins to replace Aviles who is out for 5-6 months. In 5 innings so far Garcia has given up 1 run and just 3 hits. The acquisition of Pedro Garcia gives the Rockies 3 Garcia's in the bullpen - Pedro, Roman, and Andres. We were very tempted to name LF Yasukazu Tsuchiya as he had a great month hitting .301/.363/.677 with 11 HR and 27 RBI but amazingly he did not get it... see below to find out who did.
