Can they beat their own record of 119 wins?
September 1st, 2022

W - 104 / L - 25 / 33 Game Lead

The Rockies had an incredible August as they went 23-3 to improve to 104 wins on the season already. Last season they set a MLB record with 119 wins, they have a chance to break that this year and all they need to do is win 16 of their final 27 games to reach 120 and it is definitely possible. This month also saw 3B Rosell Herrera return from the DL only to see Donald Payne stay in the starters role thanks to his play, it will be interesting to see who stays in that spot after the season.

In our monthly Tsuchiya watch he had a slow month hitting just .245 but still got 8 HR which put him at 63 overall for the season, he would need 10 home runs to tie Barry Bonds for most in MLB history steroids or not.
