It's not supposed to do that. Other people have had a white screen problem, it was usually caused by a the settings.dat file that became corrupted. Try deleting the file in \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 2014\config and running the game again. It might solve your problem.
