Thus ends G. Davis 2013 season as a starter on the Mallards. Here are some interest lines from the Game:

HR: D. Hall (31), J. Osorio (1), D. Chamings (12)
POG: J. Osorio 1-3, R, 3 RBI, HR
8/3: MAD 7, CHA 6 (14)
WP: M. Farias (5-3, 3.74), LP: L. Peterson (4-5, 2.77)
HR: D. Chamings (13)
POG: C. Conley 2-6, R, 2 RBI – Game tying hit off Tavares in the top of the ninth
It was J. Tavares 7th blown save of the year. In his last six starts he has two loses, two blown saves, two no decision and one save. I am starting to have thoughts of L. Bishop moving to the closer roll and J. Tavares in the set up spot. J. Tavares ERA has increased to 3.33 with a WHIP of 1.81, both are higher than I would like to see in the closer role.
8/4: CHA 6, MAD 3
WP: J. Higgins (3-2, 4.40), LP: V. Houston (1-1, 5.63), SV. M. Cruz (7)
HR: D. Hall 2 (33)
POG: D. Hall 2-5, 2 R, 3 RBI, 2 HR
V. Houston first rough outing in the ABL, these are bound to happen, wait and see how he responds. I am sticking with him as a starter until September, as I fully expect him in the rotation in 2013.
8/5: MAD 5, WAS 1
WP: P. Juarez (12-5, 3.92), LP: J. Lopez (8-11, 4.66), SV: M. Hinton (1)
HR: R. Menenders (2), G. Martinez (26), K. Nishikawa (28)
POG: M. Ruiz 2-4, 2 R, 3 RBI
Hinton finished the last three innings; he was the only fresh pitcher in the bullpen. We are still recovering from the 14 inning game two days ago.
Next Week: 3 vs. Washington (55-60), 3 @ Detroit (58-57), 2 vs. Columbus (69-46)
