For MLB players' actual MLB years (not their pro years or post-high school years) I'm wondering about the differences between the neutralized stats from the OOTP database, Spritze-Gambo one, and the Spritze post-High School one.
For examples:
1) In the OOTP neutered db, Andre Ethier's first three MLB years (06-08) appear to be neutralized, whereas the rest of his years (09-12) appear to be actual. In the Spritze-Gambo and Spritze HS db's, however, Ethier's noot stats appear to be actual except for 2009, which is noot...
2) In the OOTP neutered db, all of Ted Williams' MLB years are neutered to one degree or another. In the Spritze-Gambo db, Williams' first three noot years contain actual stats, while the rest of his years are mostly neutered. The Spritze HS db mostly matches Spritze-Gambo, with a few differences here and there.
3) In the OOTP neutered db, all of Jackie Robinson's MLB years are neutered. Both the Spritze-Gambo and Spritze HS db's match OOTP, except for 1949, where Jackie's stats are neutered, but are not the same as the noot stats in OOTP.
Would Mr's Spritze and/or Gambo - or anyone else with knowledge of it - please comment on the theories behind all of this, and what one could expect for differences between these db's?
Thanks in advance.
