Don’t have much time this morning for extra business, we didn’t get into Tampa until after 2:00 in the morning, caught a few hours of sleep on the plane and in the hotel and I am now on my way to the ballpark. Wesley sent his report on Tampa to me on the way to the airport.

If we can have good series here, we are right back in the mix.

We are scoreless through three innings, J. Jackson has pitched three strong innings one hit and two strikeouts.

@tligget – Manny Cruz (SS) of Chicago leaves the game with an injury.

Tampa scores two runs in the bottom of the 5th inning, and we get one bac in the top of the 6th inning. J. Jackso is still going strong into the top of the 7th inning.

We head into the top of the ninth inning down one run, with Chamings, Ruiz and Osorio up to bat. Chamings flies out. Ruiz gets on base and Fiadeiro comes in to pinch hit and knocks him in to tie the game.

Lowell Bishop comes into the bottom of the ninth inning and shuts down the side 1,2,3, and we head into the 10th inning.

Bishop heads out to the mound in the bottom of the 10th inning and quickly allows a solo home run to Rick Lambright.

@tligget – Johnathon George (SA) has left the game with an undiagnosed injury

@tligget – Oklahoma City’ MR Larry Saunders leaves the game with an injury, no diagnosis as of yet.

@tligget – Antonio Morales (IND) leaves the game with a mild hamstring sprain, he will be day to day for a few days.

@tigget – Houston right fielder Alan Waddington leaves the game with an undiagnosed injury.

Mallards fall to .500 on the year loose to Tampa
By Rick Featherstone

The Mallards Joe Jackson pitched 8 strong inning only allowing two earned runs off 6 hits; however he did not get a decision as the Mallards offense couldn’t generate enough offense to get the Mallards the win. Tampa was won the game in the bottom of te inning off as solo home run by Rick Lambright.
