A puzzling reply, for sure! I am of the impressions that many use your db. I would think we would hear from the gallery of peanuts if your db's exclusion of those data elements made a difference... Hmm...
If it appears that OOTP does not use these fields, and also does not use the data in the fielding.csv file, then how would OOTP know that, for example, Bill Russell would primarily be an outfielder at first and then move to the infield? If using neither, wouldn't all players import as either random position players or as Dave Kingmans?
