Shown as a Cleveland-area sandlot player ca. 1909 as pictured in the 15-Feb-1909 Cleveland Plain Dealer, as manager of amateur team Matt Hinkel's Champions in 1912 and finally pictured in his umpiring outfit in the 23-Jul-1922 Plain Dealer.
