For the fourth year in a row the Ginza Ninjas have been stuck in mediocrity... stuck in the second division... they were 75-79 last year (17 GB) in sixth place in the TU South standings... this year the Ninjas were 76-68 in fifth, but 28 games out... Ginza has never captured a Pro Cup... the only time they ever got to the Finals, they were swept by Volusia in the inaugural title game in 2001... the last time the Ninjas were in the postseason was in 2031.
Ginza has an average offense and pitching with pretty good power... they hit 195 roundtrippers (5th)... the main leaders at the plate were 1B Kim Kudo (.306/20/70/93), SS Sam Essex (.277/35/104/89), CF Sogo Takagi (.250/26/74/86) and C Whip Harrell (.291/22/75/57)... top hurlers are Julian Bass (16-15/3.48) and Carlos Del Toro (14-11/3.23)... the bullpen leader is Timmy Hickens (11-12/3.09/22), who tied Wes Christopher (8-9/2.78) of Fairfax and Artemus Hale (5-7/3.48) of Kenwood for the most saves in the IPA with 22.
