Hello, trying to play a stats-only league and I've come across the following scouting report that has me confused!
-Scouting Turned ON
-Scouting Accuracy: Very Low (will be unreliable, but shouldn't be 'stupid')
-Created Scouts for every team with 'Decent' Ratings across the board and neutral favoring on tools/ability.
18yr old LF Ivan Wilson (has no stats...this is 2013 amateur draft of mlb quickstart, real life draftee)
Quote:
SUMMARY:
Won't be a big league hitter.
CONTACT:
Won't be able to consistently hit top-level pitching. Perhaps a .330 hitter.
POWER:
He'll hit one out once in a great while.
EYE:
Swings early and often, often disregarding whether or not the pitcher has thrown the ball. Won't make it far as a hitter.
Defense:
Wilson is inconsistent with his fielding.
SPEED:
Well below-average runner.
PERSONALITY/MAKEUP:
One of the Guys.

What the heck?? Is this some sort of typo? How could the scout possible think this guy will hit .330 if he's 'not a big league hitter'.
How exactly the whole scouting report system works is really confusing to me. Are they always referring/predicting to how they will do in MLB someday? Or is he saying that someday he could hit .330 in rookie league? or whatever current league they are playing in, etc...
