Player - Coach - GM

Hello,

I am in the midst of a fictional dynasty that I've created and wanted to get some help from the community.

I started my league in 1976 and created myself as an average 2B prospect for the 1988 draft. My intention is to have minor league career, then manage, then become a GM.

1 - What is the best way to go from playing to coaching where I control the coach and can accept/reject job offers? Should I just have my 'player' play and then create a manager, they wouldn't be linked, but I would know that they were the same person.

2 - Can a Manager become a GM in the game or does the same principle about the player to manager need to apply.

My goal is to become a manager for a few years in the minors and then the majors and then become a GM.

Thanks for the help!
