The most widely accepted set of abbreviations is:
DR = Drenthe
FL = Flevoland
FR = Friesland
GD = Gelderland
GR = Groningen
LB = Limburg
NB = Noord-Brabant
NH = Noord-Holland
OV = Overijssel
UT = Utrecht
ZH = Zuid-Holland
ZL = Zeeland
If it is required, I could probably help out with finding out the places and dates of birth of players. Also if any translations are needed from Dutch, I could also help with that.

We can't directly fix the abbreviations, but perhaps can work with Andreas to get them fixed in the db.
Any places and dob's you can find for Dutch players would be wonderful.
I've had real trouble finding info (dob's, hometowns, even height and weight) on some of the Dutch players. The team sites and general Dutch baseball sites aren't much help on that in many cases, and Baseball Ref is no better.
I'd though of getting someone who speaks Dutch to email the teams and KNVSB to ask for info and did get a volunteer to do so but didn't get around to making it happen.
So anything you can contribute would be greatly welcome.
btw, the Honkbal Hoofdklasse is not yet updated to 2014 rosters in game. I'll be getting to that soon.
