Resigning young players question
If I have a stud that I love on my team, should I bother trying to lock them up long term? I noticed that I can resign a 22 year old but at the same time it says (contract automatically gets renewed). But not knowing anything about how contracts are structured in MLB through the years for players, how do I know if I should sign a player or just let my young guys get automatically renewed?
where can I see the information on how the contract strcuture for players at a certain age, etc, is it all standardized?
