Got a bit of a puzzler here - maybe someone can help?

I waived and DFA'd a player who was on the AAA DL off of my 40-man
He cleared waivers and I left him in DFA limbo for the full 10 days. When it came time to move him out of limbo, I seem to be unable to make the moves to be able to move foward:

- If I try to move him to a minor league roster, I get a "Player is injured, put him on the DL!" error.
- If I move him to the DL, nothing happens (he doesn't actually go to the DL, even though I get asked if he should go on the 15 or 60 day DL - probably because he's not on the 40 man anymore).

It looks like my only option is to release him - is this correct or am I missing something?
