IPA'S 46TH SEASON ON THE HORIZON
Here we go again... The 46th year of Islandian Pro Alliance baseball will get underway tomorrow all across the Islands... here's what the baseball analysts are forecasting: a majority of last year's powers will do well again... Pro Cup champ Sugar Valley will win the RU East again, but will be challenged by Marston, Elnora and Wynnamac... Middlefield and Rocky Rapids will battle it out again in the RU West with the Snappers rated the top team in the RU... LaGrange, Valmara and Ranford are the best bets in the RU North... last year's division winner 100-game winner Glasco may have trouble repeating... the surprise team could be Waleska in the RU South... they are a big favorite to romp past last year's champ Claxton.

Heavy-hitting Red Bluff is picked to be the best team in the IPA and should dominate and repeat in the Tycobbian East... the Hartsdale Hellcats are the choice to handily win the TU North, despite the presence of traditional powerhouse North Hills, last season's winner... in the TU West, Arlon gets the nod over Bayview, Rolling Hills and last year's division champ Kenwood... it should be another battle royal in the TU South between Southport, San Alejo, Summerland and Cape Coral.

It the prognosticators are correct, the Pro Cup Finals should feature the Red Bluff Red Sox and Rocky Rapids Snappers with the title going to the Red Sox.
