Playing in my first month of this game, and I'm seeing the AI GMs dropping some somewhat high value players to waivers, some like Soriano (who has a $18m contract) but he was on fire/hot...
I immediately traded him once I got him off waivers, but some like C Torrealba 3 1/2 stars, ... all are in their 30s.

Is this normal for the game? ??

Because not all these players (yes, there are more than those two) not all of them are signed to expensive contracts. many are $1m or so.
Does the AI have a problem valuing players in their mid 30s?
And Is there a reliable way to get around this in adjusting values of AI teams so they don't undervalue the veterans like this in the first month of the season?
