I am playing in commish mode, that could have something to do with it too I suppose... I just thought that the game would have some type of label on the players that was visible to me, that guys are not historical players when playing in this mode, making them unable to be used... or at least labeling them as such so that even I would easily know that they are fictional.
With a minor league system, I wanted the historical players to develop and come up to the major when ready and not be just a replay of reality.
