Weekly Recap

Could we be looking at a Bills-Cardinals World Championship Game? The Bills continue to do what it takes to make that happen with a 6-3 win over the Packers. 37 year old newcomer Zach Graziano improves to 6-0 with a 1.83 ERA on the season. Mike Sullivan singled in a pair of runs for the Bills.

The Cardinals had another sloppy defensive game, committing 10 errors, but remained undefeated with a 5 run ninth inning to edge the 49'ers 13-12. Lew Brown hit the walk off triple in the bottom of the ninth for the Cardinals, with Johnny Meyer picking up 4 hits and Jack Manning driving in 4 runs.

The Panthers and Saints had a big first place battle in the NBC South, with the Panthers pulling into first place with a 5-2 win. Larry Hagen picked up 3 hits for the Panthers with Larry Corcoran getting his fifth win of the season.

Sam Johnson has been pretty consistent between last year and this year for the Lions. Last season Johnson had a 2.79 FIP, while this year he has a 2.80 FIP. His ERA last year was 1.65, while this year it's 1.64. The big difference was last year Johnson was 5-6, but this year he improved to 5-1 on the year with a 4-1 win over the Vikings.

The Chargers pulled off a shocking comeback against the Ravens and Jim Britt with 4 runs in the ninth inning. Dave Sherman hit the big 3 run double in the ninth inning for the Chargers.
