SNAPPERS, HELLCATS FAVORED IN LCS
The Pro Cup favorite and defending IPA champ Sugar Valley Rattlers are long gone after being swept away in the first round of the playoffs. However, the two next best teams are still alive and well. The second-rated club Hartsdale took care of number four Summerland in six games, while third-ranked Rocky Rapids easily disposed of Sugar Valley in four games. For the Tycobbian League Championship Hartsdale will now faces number five Red Bluff, victor in a tough seven-game set with Kenwood and in Ruthlandia it will be Rocky Rapids challenged by the sixth-rated Valmara Vipers.
Both Rocky Rapids and Hartsdale played well in the Division Series and are the choice of the oddsmakers in the LCS round, but neither one of them are a lock. Valmara and Red Bluff are capable of upsetting them. The Pro Cup playoffs are still a toss-up with four pretty evenly-match teams. The Snappers and Hellcats are slightly favored to win in the semi-final round with Rocky Rapids expected to win it all.
