August 10, 2013 (Arkansas at Corpus Christi)
This was a pretty entertaining game to watch. We had a 4-3 lead through seven, Arkansas scored two in the top of the eighth to take a 5-4 lead, and we came right back with two in the bottom half for a 6-5 advantage, which meant it was showtime for me against the 9-1-2 guys, all lefties.
Sherman Johnson (0-for-2) -- I got ahead with two sinkers, threw a good 0-2 curve and he hit a lazy fly to left.
Matt Young (1-for-4) -- A good 2-2 sinker led to an easy 4-3 groundout.
Drew Heid (1-for-4) -- I left a 1-0 sinker well up in the zone, but he was late on it and hit a weak fly to left, capping a perfect inning on 10 pitches for my sixth save in as many chances.
