August 21, 2013 (Midland at Corpus Christi)

I was needed for two garbage-time innings today, as we were getting smoked 12-0 by the time I entered in the seventh, and lost 12-4. We were down to five total relievers today, and one tweaked a shoulder during the game, so I sure hope reinforcements arrive soon.

I had a good outing by the numbers: 2 innings, 0 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk, 1 K, 1 HBP. But I'm still very unhappy with my control. 15 strikes in 29 pitches, with the walk and HBP, isn't good enough. I'm missing with my bread-and-butter sinker way too much.
