24 year old catcher Tug Wilson stepped to the plate in the bottom of the tenth inning with a .063 batting average, but delivered an RBI single to score Nick Hornburg, who doubled to lead off the inning. That walk off hit gave the Vikings the win and broke the 2-2 tie as the Vikings improved to 8-0, and the Eagles fell to 7-1. In addition to scoring the winning run Hornburg picked up the complete game win with 10 innings pitched, 7 hits allowed, and 1 earned run. He's now 7-0 on the season.

It was a pair of rookies winning the Player of the Week Awards this week.
