Thanks for catching that. I trusted the listing and did not check the number. Cater did wear number 2. That would also mean that photo is from 1969 since that was Cater's last year with the A's. The photo looks like the one taken of Reynolds with similar backgrounds.


So as not to slight Jim Driscoll, I do have this 1971 card-that-never-was made by someone (perhaps a member here).

I'm a longtime friend of Jim and believe me, I know what the man looks like
