Tnfoto had posted a photo of Blondie Purcell in an 1888 Baltimore (American Association) uniform, which would qualify as major league. The posting was on the following webpage: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...opack-877.html

The only other major league uniform shots I'm aware of for Purcell are in the Old Judge card series. One example may be seen on the Deadball Era website at: TheDeadballEra.com :: BLONDIE PURCELL'S BASEBALL CARD

It's a little bit difficult to discern what the uniform is, despite the particular card reading "Baltimore." I have a book which pictures five Old Judge cards for Purcell. Three label him as with being with the Baltimore team. Two have him with the Athletics. All the uniforms look pretty much the same. I suspect it was one series of photo shoots in the studio. The uniform looks a lot like the Baltimore uniform in the photo posted by tnfoto, but I'll let you be the judge.
