Is there a way to watch for staff and free agent availability during the off-season, without checking every day? Are there months when nothing is going to happen, allowing me to skip a whole month at a time? I've short-listed staff that I'd like to hire, but I've seen no indication that I'll be alerted if they become available.

Also, is it possible to swap managers and coaches -- in effect, giving one a promotion and another a demotion?
