James Davis, P, is shown in a uniform worn while a member of the Chicago Giants. This comes from a photo of the 1920 Chicago Giants. All the other players in the photo are wearing uniforms which say "Chicago Giants" or "CG," yet this uniform appears to represent the Chicago American Giants, which is a team for which James Davis did not play. My only attempt at an explanation is that he appears to be the tallest player in the photo and he was only with the Giants for a short time, so maybe they had to borrow a uniform for him.
