Todd Noel
Pitcher Todd Noel was a first round draft pick by the Chicago Cubs in 1966. Given today's date and his surname, I couldn't resist posting his photo.
In minor league terms, Todd never rose above the High A level, but the apex of his career was making the New York Yankees' spring roster in both 2000 and 2001. The Yankees apparently thought enough of his talent to consider it worth protecting him on their 40-man roster.
