RASCALS-ZORROS WAR RAGES IN TU NORTH
The powerhouse White River Rascals, runner-up in the Pro Cup Finals, have a war on its hands... the Rascals were forecast to handily whipped everybody in sight in the Tycobbian North for the second year in a row... but thus far the pesky Luxora Zorros are making a race of it, just four games behind... the third place Mahaska Haymakers slipped behind by seven games with a poor 12-14 June.
6-TEAM LOGJAM IN TU SOUTH
What a race it is in the Tycobbian South Division with everybody and their brother still in the hunt... Turon and San Alejo are tied for the top spot, followed closely by Colchester, just a game out... lightly-regarded Cape Coral is only two games behind in fourth place... Ginza, picked for the basement, trails by only four games in the fifth spot and the preseason pick, Southport, is below .500 and six games back and in sixth place... all of the clubs have pretty good offense... pitching is what will make the difference in the second half of the season... don't count off the Southport Sun Sox just yet.
