Hey folks,

so today is a big day for us. We have just announced Out of the Park Baseball 16, the first game of the series to feature an official MLB Advanced Media and Minor League Baseball license. On top of that, it is packed with many great new features and improvements, OOTP 16 definitely will be the best version we have ever created. We are very proud of it, and we're sure you will enjoy it a lot.

Now, I understand that some of you may find the addition of the MLB license controversial or even useless (because you have modded the game and enjoy doing so), but for our small company this is a huge step. It allows us to market the game in a totally different way, which in the end will lead to more customers and more revenue, which we will invest into the game's development. It will make the user experience better and it will make the game better, both short and long term. And considering we have been able to negotiate very friendly terms with MLB (the people over at MLB Advanced Media are a great bunch to work with), I can safely say this is a win-win, for everyone involved, especially for you, the customer..

This year the development of the game has gone much smoother than in the past, mainly because we hired a new developer to help with OOTP in October. His name is Matt Arnold and he does a tremendous job, I am glad we have him on our team now. Because of him (and my genius, of course) we are ahead of schedule and will release a very polished product late March. This is the first time we'll release the game prior to Opening Day, which is quite an achievement. The rosters will not be final of course, but a couple of days after Opening Day we'll release a free update with true OD rosters.

So, again, this is a very big day for us. We hope you like the new features and are looking forward to the game. If you plan to purchase the game, please consider pre-ordering it now (in January if possible) for just $34.99 (instead of $39.99), you'd support our company, have the chance to win some cool prices and will also get the game three days prior to official launch plus an additional Steam key once the game is launched over there.
