I want this just released image by Topps Vault to be pitcher Gary Beare who pitched two years for the Brewers. However my eyes are influenced by wanting to check another whale off my list.

Based on:
1) the placement in the folder with other 'Bs"
2) What appears to be "B..E..A.." on the tongue of his cleat
3) He wore #31 when he came up, and there is at least a noticeable '3' on his jersey in one photo.

I'm thinking my chances are good.

Might anyone help confirm though?
