A loaded, losing team ... seven members of the Opening Day lineup went on to solid MLB careers: Langston, Valle, Davis, Tartabull, Darnell Coles (already in AAA when this photo was made), Presley, Calderon. Langston and Davis went on to be Rookies of the Year and Calderon was 1983 SL batting champ. Serna, Diaz, Nielsen, Long also reached the majors -- but this team had a losing record.
