Ron Condron was a teacher in the junior high school I attended. He played two years in organized ball. The first year he played for the Michigan City (IN) White Caps alongside future major leaguers Bob Bolin, John Orsino, Matty Alou, and Manny Mota. He quit after his second season ended with him getting his arm broken from being hit by a pitch.
