Hoping to pick the brains of the OOTP veterans and get some advice -- when is the best time of the 'year' to import a league into a new version of OOTP? I'm going to import my league into OOTP 16 when I reach the off-season (rather than mid-season), in order to maintain continuity and seasonal integrity, but when is the optimal point in the off-season to do this? Immediately after the World Series? Right before Salary Arbitration Hearings? Right before Free Agency? At the end of the calendar year? Or right before Spring Training?

(I have a traditional April-October season.)

I'm guessing you could theoretically do it at any point, but am guessing that there's probably a recommended period in the offseason to make the switchover. I'd like the transition to be as seamless as possible (i.e. you wouldn't be able after-the-fact to look back at the league records and easily point and say "There's obviously when the switch occurred, look at the continuity break") while allowing me to benefit from all these great new improvements that OOTP16 is expected to bring. Thanks for any tips!
