Craig Smajstrla (no, I don't know how to pronounce it either) was a cup of coffee infielder with the 1988 Astros (3 AB's) notable for three things:

1. He was a local Houston kid
2. He was nicknamed "Mr. Buy-a-Vowel" by Milo Hamilton
3. He was one of the smallest players of the 80's, at just 5'9" and 165 pounds

Here are two Topps negatives of Craig just posted on ebay by duckyboy34, dated 1989. I apologize for the scratches, but that was how the negatives were posted. I did brighten them a little. Perhaps Topps Vault will post cleaner versions.
