When ootp mentions structure, it's talking about the schedule's element line (Always the second line in the .lsdl file) not matching your games structure and/or your schedule options settings.
Things that might not match the schedule your trying to import:
For schedule options on your lgs. schedule options page:
# of games
Balanced games (either Y or N)
Interleague play (either Y or N)
For structure:
# of teams, divisions, subleagues don't match (this has to be exact)
These are the only things that would give that error and prevent the schedule from loading.
Also, schedules can only be loaded safely during pre-season.
