But you can feel safe right now that if your manager has an unhealthy obsession with a bad player, you can trade or send down the guy and the manager won't be upset at you. We haven't gotten that far in modeling things, but I will say that's a perfectly valid strategy to force his hand

Sounds good. Just slightly confused because I'm the Mets and I made Backman my manager, so I figured I would have some pull over him, but I can't edit anything. I called up my top prospect since Wright went down and he playing other dudes over them I guess because their current rating is higher. I don't want to mange, but I also want to figure out a way to get my prospect some playing time.
